A fun interactive review game over important issues from World War II. Jeopardy is an effective way to engage the whole class before a test or quiz over WWII that will enhance the students ability to remember the topics covered.
A concept map for standard 3 of US Government. Effective and enhancing activities for three of the sub-standards within standard 3. An easy way to lesson plan for each topic with an activity and an evaluation.
The road to creating the Constitution is a long a often, confusing journey. With the timeline I hope to simplify the development of the Constitution in a way that would best enhance the students' learning. It can also be used as a project, having the students create their own timeline with the events they feel are most important with the Constitution. I have created a news letter sent out to the parents of my students over presentations that the students will do over semester long projects. A semester long research project is something I plan on doing with my students and I wanted the parents to be able to see the hard work their students have put into the class and their projects.
Wakelet is a useful tool for simple presentations for students to create. I created an example project over the hyperinflation in the Wiemar Republic. I would have students create a Wakelet over a specific topic in the unit that we had just covered. I would have the students go into more detail than I would be able to do in class and have the students review with the Wakelets created by the class.

Chatterpix is an app for IOS that I used as an introduction for my students before the start of the term. As I created this specific Chatterpix for a potential Ancient Civilizations class the Acropolis in Athens is a pivotal structure in Ancient Greece. I choose the Acropolis over a picture of myself, because I figured that the students would see enough of my face in the coming weeks and that the Acropolis is to beautiful of a monument to not use.
An effective way to engage students with important historical figures. By creating the Fakebook the students' will enhance their understanding of a particular time period. This will in turn enhance the students' understanding of the topic at hand.
The two Piktocharts are example presentations that I want my students to create. Having one Piktochart for both history and government, I can use the project in both classes I wish to teach. Piktochart is an effective way to create simple projects over a specific topic, as done with the Electoral College, or a more broad topic, as done with the Salem Witch Trials.
An example project of a video depicting the Greek myth of King Midas' gold touch. Greek myths are an integral part of learning about Ancient Greek culture and having the students pick a myth and create a fun video from it would help the students understand Ancient Greek society a little bit more.
Nearpod is a good way to keep students engaged during lectures. The Cold War is a dense topic that would take at least a weeks worth of classes to fully cover, this Nearpod is designed to assist during lectures and be a going back point for students to review the information.

Professional Development Chart
As you can see from the two charts above, I improved significantly in all areas. My biggest improvement, however, was in Promote and Model Digital Citizenship and Responsibility. My biggest strengths are be able to use different technology. That's what I was best at before the semester started, there wasn't a lot of room to grow, simply because I am really good at using technology and what I don't know how to use I can certainly figure out. My biggest weakness are all communication based ones. I don't post online often and don't feel completely comfortable doing so, however, I do not believe it necessary to participate in Twitter chats or posting lesson plans online. That's not to say I don't see the value in those things, they just aren't for me. I'd still like to get better at communicating online, but it's not my biggest priority. I'd also like to improve Design and Develop Digital-Age Learning Experiences and Assessments section more.
